Divine Mercy Highway Billboards:
We have placed Divine Mercy Billboards on Interstate 70 at the eastern and western boundaries of Hays. As vehicles approach and leave Hays, these signs are prominently visible. Likewise, we have placed signs on Kansas Route 183 north and south of Hays. If you are interested in helping place highway billboards on other roads within Ellis County, help us with solar lighting for the signs so all are fully illuminated in the evenings, or if you own property on which you would be willing to place a sign please contact us.
Divine Mercy Yard Signs:
Similar to grottos which many people have in their yards, with proper placement and floral accompaniment, these signs are especially beautiful. They are a silent, yet powerful, witness to the Divine Mercy when placed in a front or side yard, and make wonderful prayer grottos when placed in the back yard.
We have access to two sizes. Both are approximately 36 inches in height before being placed in the ground. The surface of the larger picture is 24" high x 18" wide, supported by a metal post on each side. The smaller size is 18" high x 12" wide, supported by a single post in the middle. Our sign company tells us the signs should last five or more years, even through our harsh Kansas winters. We do not deliver, but we have been quite successful in helping donors arrange pick-ups or deliveries throughout the Diocese of Salina.
We ask that donations at least cover our cost for the signs. Most people donate either $100 or $75 respectively. The actual cost to us is $80 and $55 respectively. Proceeds over cost are used to help advertise and promote the Divine Mercy locally.
Divine Mercy Window Stickers: PRESENTLY OUT OF STOCK
Our initial order of 15,000 window sticker stickers is now limited. Stickers can be placed on automobiles, trucks, front doors of homes, etc., so people will see the Divine Mercy wherever they go. Travelers with Divine Mercy stickers on their vehicles are silent yet powerful evangelizers. We presently have a very limited supply. We ask donations to cover postage and handling. Discipleship Times News Magazine:
This 24 page news magazine explains basic Catholic teachings on the Scripture, the Eucharist, Marian devotion, the Papacy, Purgatory, the Priesthood, the Divine Mercy, and Catholic Stewardship. Our supply is limited, but copies may be obtained with a donation to cover postage and handling.
Divine Mercy Radio:
A Parishioner within our Heartland Parishes is initiating an effort to bring Catholic radio to Ellis County. She is presently applying for a license and non-profit status. This initiative is through a separate corporation unaffiliated with the Heartland Parishes, but the initiative has the blessings of our bishop.
Your Ideas:
We are very interested in ideas you may have to help promote the Divine Mercy locally. As a general rule, your idea should be feasible within our frame work and structure. We may ask you to help shepherd your idea to its fruition. In the Heartland Parishes of Ellis County, we promote and practice Catholic Stewardship.
