Don’t miss it next year!
It is ANOTHER chance of a lifetime! MORE
But wait,
In all of the 20 years that I have so enthusiastically pleaded with all of my friends, parishioners, lapsed Catholics, family members, clergy, terminally ill patients, acquaintances, strangers and students, to please,
'just let God's unimaginable Mercy be received by them'
I have encountered apathy, indifference, rejection, polite humoring, AND occasional interest.
Why? There is an answer, and it must be addressed, if we are to promote this UNFATHOMABLE OPPORTUNITY, called "The Divine Mercy."
The answer is:
People are no longer aware of their excruciating NEED for Mercy.
As the late great Pope John Paul II has said, "There is a loss of the sense of sin."
The loss of knowledge of the full Catholic Faith, moral relativism, the rare practice of training our children in common courtesy, let alone training them in basic charity and humility, and the upside-down worldly promotion of evil over good, has placed God's children in a precarious position.
The impossible notion that "we don't need mercy" seems to have taken full root in the hearts, minds and wills of most people.
To find out WHY we are in desperate need of God's Mercy and to understand that there is much reparation (repair) needed for the damages that all of our own personal sins have caused - PLEASE read the list of index topics in the table at the top of this page.
Especially note the topic "The Last Things". A topic that all of the canonized saints kept at the forefront of there conscious thoughts 24 hours per day, in order to get to Heaven.

Jesus’ promises (per the revelation to St. Faustina)
I want to grant a complete pardon to the souls that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion on the Feast of My mercy (1109).
Whoever approaches the Fount of Life on this day will be granted complete forgiveness of sins and punishment (300).
The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion will obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment (699).
In ADDITION to these promises that Jesus, Himself, has granted:
The Church has granted that a Plenary Indulgence can ALSO be obtained.
The Promises of extraordinary graces made by Jesus go beyond the conditional graces of a plenary Indulgence. The Church gave a plenary indulgence in addition to what St. Faustina said that Jesus would grant for Mercy Sunday. This is the Church’s highest mark of approval and endorsement of the practice of this message and devotion. The Church has all authority of indulgences on earth and this is the highest indulgence that the earthly Church can grant. When the Church granted this highest indulgence, it added credibility to THE PROMISES, which the Church cannot, in itself, grant as a private revelation. The PROMISES come directly from Jesus. Catholic Truths:
TRUE OR FALSE?
As Catholics, each one of us has the right to decide what we will believe (obey) and what we will not believe (obey), in what the ‘Church’ teaches. We have a duty to ‘responsibly dissent’ on moral, doctrinal and liturgical issues, acording to our own personal consciences. FALSE!
What do we mean by saying, “What the Church teaches?” READ THIS!
Canon law clearly indicates that all Catholics are bound by law to give their submission to Catholic doctrines. READ THIS
